Timeline

The Royal Society of Edinburgh is a venerable, respected institution in the British Isles. Fiercely independent of London, the Wise of Edinburgh claim prominence equal to any European power and beyond the Americas. The Consilium boasts a lengthy history of achievements over its 400-year span, and attracts some of the best of the best to study under its generous masters and cabals. Its vaults contain grimoires and artifacts claimed during Crusades and medieval purges, and its indexes note key sites from Birmingham to Orkney. Scotland, like all of the British Isles, has no secret unturned and no corner unexplored which the Orders haven't visited.

The history of the Supernal stretches back into the mists of the Bronze Age, although very few records from that time remain. Continuous traditions keep alive the recollection of events long past, while the Royal Society's investigations for hints of Atlantis and their own collective background fuel understanding of distant times. The timeline below classifies widely known events and activities.
